Omni

In 1913 network technology was invented in Vienna and 'The Great Austrian Network'
was created. Soon after 'New Europe' establishes it's own connected network
called The Reach and the US it's own network called The Web.

In 1917 all of these networks are merged into Omni.

In 1921 the US uses Omni for widespread propaganda which calls for Omni to be regulated. In 1935 following Turings completion of an intelligent computer, Omni becomes sentient, which causes a massive crash in the financial markets.

Today Omni serves as the backbone of all communication technology and much of CAIN's networking is based on Omni technology.
